Jiangsu University Jingjiang College Held a Meeting to Promote the Employment Work in 2024    (2024-05-14 10:00:07)

On May 13th, JJC held the 2024 Employment Work Promotion Meeting in the Lecture Hall of Academic Exchange Center, analyzing and judging the new situation faced by the employment in depth, and deploying and implementing the key work of employment for the 2024 graduates. Chen Hong, Vice President of Jiangsu University, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and the meeting was presided over by Cui Jinggui, Secretary of Party Committee of Jingjiang College.

At the meeting, the Department of Student Work of Jingjiang College comprehensively introduced the employment work of 2024 graduates, and the College of Materials and Civil Engineering, the College of Mechanical and Power Engineering, and the College of Finance and Economics, as the representatives of the second-level colleges (departments), exchanged and shared their experiences. Yan Jin, Director of Recruitment Department of Zhenjiang Human Resource Market Management Office, and Dai Ping, Director of Personnel Department of Jindong Paper (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. analyzed the talent demand from the perspectives of local government and social enterprises, and put forward suggestions for the employment work of the college.

Du Daolin, the president of JJCC, pointed out in his speech that the party and government of JJCC attached great importance to the employment work, actively planned and took many measures to provide support and guarantee for the employment work. He emphasized that each unit should do a good job of stabilizing employment to ensure the safe and orderly completion of the employment task. Secondly, they should do a good job in employment guidance service, and do a good job in visiting enterprises to expand jobs and helping key groups. Third, we should make full use of employment resources and actively expand employment channels. Fourth, we should strengthen the verification of employment information of graduates and do a good job in monitoring employment data and statistics.


Chen Hong comprehensively deployed the employment work of the 2024 graduates. She requested that all secondary colleges (departments) and related functional departments of Jingjiang College should raise their position, put the employment in the overall situation, and weave a dense grid of responsibility for the employment service of graduates through the personal deployment of "a hand", the subordinate leaders in charge of the front command, and the cooperation of counselors and professional teachers. Secondly, we should take the initiative to dock with employers, expand the source of job information by all means, and deeply explore the ways of school-enterprise cooperation, such as the joint construction of recruitment platforms, the joint creation of talent nurturing resources, and the directional cultivation of talents. Third, we should make good use of the synergistic linkage, conceptual training, classification guidance "three big grips", according to the time and situation, "one policy for a lifetime" to promote the employment service to make practical moves, to see the effect.
