Recently, the president of our college was invited to Perth in Australia to attend the 2017 2nd International Conference on Renewable Energy and Conservation International Symposium and delivered a research paper entitled "The Potential Energy of Carbon Resources Flow in Industrial System under the Restriction of Carbon Quota : A Research Based on Biased Technological Progress ", which was highly recognized by foreign scholars. This meeting was of great significance for broadening the international perspective of the research group and grasping the cutting-edge developments in the field of renewable energy. It also laid a solid foundation for the establishment of close academic ties with international counterparts, collaborative research on cutting-edge theories, joint applying of projects and cross-training of personnel.

After the meeting, President Lu Zhengnan and his delegation visited UWA and got a deep understanding of UWA's professional setting, school characteristics and inter-school cooperation.

The visit effectively expanded the internationalization path of our college and opened a new chapter in strengthening the cooperation between our college and high-level international universities.
