Recently, at the invitation of Lincoln University and FIGS Group, the President of Jingjiang College, Professor Lu Zhengnan, led a delegation to visit the above-mentioned universities and related educational institutions, and achieved a fruitful result in students' exchange, joint training, teacher exchange and so on.
During the visit in Lincoln University, The delegation was warmly treated by Prof. Ian Barnes, Head of the International Cooperation Program, Prof. Timothy J. Gordon, Dean of the Engineering School, Art Prof. Stephen Pretlove, Dean of the School of Architecture and Art. The delegation visited the laboratory of School of Engineering and School of Architecture and Art in Lincoln University, listened to the introduction of laboratory staff and watched the relevant presentation. Mike Gibbons of Siemens introduced the workshop and the various products produced by the school-enterprise cooperation, and the joint training of Siemens and the engineering institute gave the delegation a keen interest. Clothing cutting, photography studio, a variety of on-site production material model of School of Architecture and Art impressed the delegation. During the talks, the two sides introduced their own development process, school characteristics, mode of operation and personnel training. Both sides expressed the intention to further deep cooperation of running school, joint training, student and teachers exchanges. Prof. Timothy J. Gordon said he hopes to visit our college this year.
During the visit to FIGS Group, the Bénédicte FAVRE, General Manager of the Group, accompanied the delegation to visit the campus.The delegation was impressed by the strictness and efficiency of the French side in the management of students and teaching order. Ms. Bénédicte FAVRE introduced the situation of student management, teaching operation, professional setting and other university cooperation in China. The two sides expressed strong cooperation intentions in terms of student exchange, joint training, teacher exchange and so on. Ms. Bénédicte FAVRE said that she would visit our school in the near future to promote the talks and further discuss cooperation and sign a cooperation agreement on the basis of consensus.
The visit has expanded the road of international development of our college, effectively promoted the cooperation and exchange between our college and foreign related institutions, and improve the level of running college.
