Invited by Jingjiang College, from September 16 to 18, Director Lee Hwan Tae and the section chief Kim Seon Moung of International Communication Department of Mokwon University headed a delegation to visit our college. Dean Lu Zhengnan, Party Secretary Chen Zhigang of Jingjiang College warmly received and welcomed the delegation.
Based on the early communication of comprehensive cooperation, both parties decided to establish the China-Korea Exchange Center in Jingjiang College. This center will provide the teachers and the students more convenient conditions for studying and exchanging. On the morning of Sept 17th, the signing and opening ceremony of China-Korea Exchange Center was held in the Jingjiang College. Dean Lu Zhengnan and Dean Lee Hwan tae respectively represented the two sides to sign and inaugurate. After that, Dean Lu and Lee both introduced the two universities at the meeting, including the history, disciplines and strength as well as great achievements in scientific research, talent cultivation, and international cooperation and so on. Deputy Dean Chen Weiping and other related personnel of the two parties attended the ceremony. In the afternoon, Deputy Dean Chen Weiping, Deputy Party Secretary Xia Ming and delegates from Mokwon University discussed the details of in-depth cooperation and exchanges. The two sides reached a cooperative intention in the field of student summer camp, "2 + 1 + 2" joint degree program, International Student Symposium and etc. They also implemented on specific details to expand the scope of cooperation and deepen the bilateral friendly cooperation between the two universities.
After the meeting, the delegates visited the University’s library, overseas student’s apartment and other hardware facilities, through which they got deeply impressed by Jiangsu University’s quick development and great achievements. They hoped the two universities in the future could develop much closer cooperation. The establishment of China-Korea Exchange Center further expanded the international cooperative space in our College and opened up a new channel for international exchange for teachers and students.
