In order to deeply study, comprehend and implement the spirits of the 18thNational Congress of the Communist Party of China, push the scientific development of college career, Jingjiang College held the Secretary Lecture at 2pm, Nov. 28th, in which, Professor Chen Zhigang, the party secretary of the college, made a special presentation and report to the faculties of the college on "learning and implementing the spirits of 18thParty Congress, and promoting the sustainable development of Jingjiang College".
Secretary Chen illustrated the connotations of the report of 18th Party Congress in terms of the theme, background and function of the 18thParty Congress, basic content framework of the report, important significance in four levels and analysis of a series of new thoughts and highlights, etc. He pointed out that: the 18thNational Congress of the Communist Party, which further specified the historical position of scientific development, realized the party's guiding ideology keeping up with the times once again, and provided the goals and directions for the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, is the guideline to build a moderately prosperous society and a grand strategic deployment to basically achieve socialist modernization.Combining the spirits of 18thParty Congress, Secretary Chen introduced the development process and current situation of the independent college, summarized the major achievements of Jingjiang College in recent five years, analyzed the situation challenges and opportunities faced with, and came up with the thought for the next construction and development.
Secretary Chen pointed out that as the requirements to adjust to new period, education administrators should possess "five consciousness" namely, appreciation, knowledge, courage, consensus and insight and laid emphasis on taking the spirits of 18thParty Congress as the motivation, Scientific Outlook on Development as the guidance and the building of new campus as the opportunity, freeing up the mind, seeking truth from facts, planning scientifically, putting people first, pooling the strength and hearts, and being pragmatic and innovative to work hard to promote the sustainable development of Jingjiang College,
