On May 19th, it is the 34th National Disability Assistance Day. In response to the call for the development of the national cause for people with disabilities, recently, Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University has actively carried out a series of condolence activities. Cui Jingui, Party secretary, and Jiang Hao, deputy Party secretary and discipline inspection secretary, presented school supplies and condolence money to disabled students of the college, allowing them to feel the warmth and care from the college.

As a college that emphasizes humanistic care, Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University has always been committed to providing a better learning and living environment for disabled students. The college has not only set up barrier-free passages and barrier-free toilets on campus to facilitate the travel and life of disabled students, but also organized students to establish a volunteer team to regularly provide help to disabled students so that they can better integrate into campus life.

This condolence activity is one of the specific measures for the college to continuously pay attention to the needs of disabled students. At the event site, Cui Jingui and Jiang Hao had a cordial conversation with disabled students to understand their learning and living conditions and expressed that the college will continue to provide them with more support and help.

At this stage, the college plans to take the opportunity of building a smart campus and integrate disability assistance functions into the smart campus platform to facilitate the daily study and life of disabled students.
