On the afternoon of June 2nd, Jingjiang College convened a conference for the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the running of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University and the 2024 alumni homecoming event with the theme of "Twenty-five years of elegance, building dreams for the future" in the conference room 302 of the administrative building. Li Guohao, director of the Alumni Association and External Liaison Office of Jiangsu University, members of the first council of the Alumni Association of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University, Cui Jingui, secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Du Daolin, dean of the college, Jiang Hao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and relevant persons in charge of functional departments and secondary colleges (departments) attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Lei, secretary of the Youth League Committee.
On behalf of the college, Cui Jingui extended the warmest welcome and most sincere thanks to the alumni who attended this meeting and have always been concerned about and supported the construction and development of their alma mater, and introduced the basic situation of the college's career development in recent years to the alumni. He pointed out that Jingjiang College has always adhered to the mission of "educating people for the Party and cultivating talents for the country" and implemented the fundamental task of "fostering virtue through education". He hoped that the alumni and the college would work hand in hand to help the college's career development.
Li Guohao shared the operation and management experience of the alumni association. He said that the development of the school is inseparable from the support of the vast number of alumni. He hoped that the alumni association would take the development of Jingjiang College as its mission, gather strong alumni forces, carry out industry-university-research cooperation, and contribute to the construction of Jingjiang College.
Du Daolin explained in detail the "High-quality Development Plan of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University" and fully affirmed the work of the alumni association. At the same time, he hoped that the alumni association would serve as a bridge for communication and service between alumni and the college, and continue to play an active role in promoting the construction of the teaching staff, improving the quality of talent cultivation, and enhancing the influence of the college.
Jiang Hao introduced the specific situation of the "Beautiful Jingjiang" donation and construction activity, and hoped that the alumni association would call on the vast number of alumni to actively participate and jointly create a green, low-carbon and sustainable campus environment.
Subsequently, relevant persons in charge of each secondary college (department) and members of the Alumni Association of Jingjiang College held consultations and discussions on professional construction, school-enterprise co-construction, integration of production and education, and industry-university-research cooperation. The alumni said that they would actively tap the resources of the alumni association, expand communication channels, and integrate resources to contribute to the construction of the college.
Finally, the participants conducted in-depth discussions on the work of the alumni association around the theme of "win-win cooperation and seek common development", and determined the relevant work plan of the alumni association for celebrating the 25th anniversary of the running of Jingjiang College.
