During the environmental protection month, Jingjiang College will advocate teachers and students to actively practice the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" concept in their daily work and study through a series of carefully planned green and low-carbon popular science activities, establish Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization, and deeply promote the college's energy-saving, green, low-carbon and sustainable development.
      It is understood that as a national-level "water-saving college", Jingjiang College actively practices the concept of green and low-carbon development and actively explores a cultural education model with green characteristics. In order to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization, Jingjiang College promotes the concept of green and low-carbon development into ideological and political education, classrooms, and minds through diverse forms and rich connotations of publicity, education and practical activities, guides teachers and students to consciously practice green and low-carbon requirements and promotes the formation of green and low-carbon behavior habits. Earnestly strengthen the comprehensive management of campus greening, beautification, purification, fragrance, lighting and safety, create a more visible campus greening landscape, and build a beautiful and happy campus. Optimize the campus service function planning and campus landscape design to enhance the environmental education function. Plan and construct several landscapes, green plants and water systems that integrate with the campus environment, reflect Jingjiang's traditions and highlight the college's school-running concept, and focus on creating campus greening projects such as "Camphor Tree Avenue", "Begonia Avenue", "Cherry Blossom Avenue" and "Pomegranate Avenue". Optimize the internal traffic operation routes on campus to create a green, low-carbon, orderly and safe campus environment.
      Du Daolin, dean of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University, introduced that the college will take the "June 5th World Environment Day" as an opportunity to continuously strengthen the publicity, education and practical activities of the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" concept, and integrate the low-carbon environmental protection concept into all aspects of the college's education and teaching, scientific research management and campus life.
