September 7th was the first day for the freshmen of the 2024 grade of Jingjiang College to register en masse. Vice President Chen Hong led a team to inspect and guide the orientation work of Jingjiang College, visited the newly registered students, and extended greetings to the teachers, students and staff participating in the orientation work. All the leaders of Jingjiang College, heads of some functional departments, and Party branch secretaries of some secondary colleges accompanied the inspection.

Chen Hong and her party came to the registration points for the orientation, got a detailed understanding of the registration process and the registration situation of the freshmen, and cordially visited the on-site staff. Subsequently, Chen Hong and her party went deep into the freshman apartments to visit the freshmen who had already registered. They had friendly conversations with the freshmen, and inquired in detail about the freshmen's satisfaction with the campus learning and living environment as well as the logistics support work. She hoped that the students would be united and friendly, help each other, adapt to the new environment as soon as possible, and actively integrate into the big family of Jingjiang College. Meanwhile, she encouraged the students to cherish the wonderful time in college, aim high, and study hard. The students expressed their sincere gratitude for the kind care of the school leaders, and said that they would surely keep the teachings in mind, adapt to the campus life of the university as soon as possible, be united and upward, work hard, serve the motherland and contribute to the society.

During this period, Cui Jingui, the Party secretary of Jingjiang College, and Du Daolin, the dean of Jingjiang College, led a team to the orientation points at the station to console the volunteers and visit the freshmen. Cui Jingui expressed his gratitude to the volunteers who stuck to their posts, affirmed that the orientation volunteers wholeheartedly did a good job in the orientation service and demonstrated the good spiritual outlook of Jingjiang College, and reminded the volunteers to pay attention to heatstroke prevention as the weather was hot. Du Daolin extended a warm welcome to the freshmen and their parents, and wished the students to start a new journey in the university, pursue their dreams in Jingjiang College and build their dreams for the future.
