The Foundation-stone Laying Ceremony of Jingjiang Campus of UJS was held at Chang Xiag Road Dan Tu District Zhenjiang City on December 2ndmorning. The chief leaders attended the ceremony. They are Fan Ming, the Secretary of Party Committee of UJS, Yuan Shouqi, Headmaster of UJS, Lu Zhengnan, Dean of Jiangjiang College of UJS, Chen Zhigang, Secretary of Party Committee of Jingjiang College of UJS. The ceremony was held by Zhang Jijian, Deputy Headmaster of UJS.
The formal beginning of construction of the new campus of UJS is the outcome of the constant striving of the relating units and workers through the procedures of survey and argumentation, democrat decision, discussion and debate, contract signing, controlling and designing. What we have achieved cannot be separated from the concerns and support from the provincial and the municipal parties and ones from the people of all walks of life. Headmaster Yuan Shouqi addressed during the ceremony and congratulated the construction of the new campus. He stressed that Jingjiang College has made its fame among the provinces and has cultivated a large number of the excellent and practical students and made a great contribution to the local economical development based on its principles of the vivid characteristic of schooling and the mode of cultivating talents. In the near future, a first-class of school of humanity, modernity, ecology and intellectualization will be erected, which will lay a foundation of the sustainable and high-level independent college.
When Fan Ming, the Secretary of Party Committee of UJS, pronounced the start of the Foundation-stone Laying Ceremony of Jingjiang Campus of UJS, the flowers was in full blossom and the fireworks cracked. The leaders and guests present laid the earth and ridged the foundation of Jingjiang Campus of UJS.
The directors of the Party Committee Office, School Management Office, Public Information Office attended the ceremony, including all the leader of Jingjiang College, the crew of Jingjiang Campus Construction Office, the teachers and students of Jingjiang College, the representatives of the Design Unit and Building and Construction Unit.
