To promote the traditional Chinese virtues and enable students to further understand the importance of honesty, our college invited Professor Li Wenqing from Jiangsu University to give a lecture in the Lecture Hal, themed on “A Conversation with Your Belief—Honesty is the Fundamental Percept”

Professor Li began the lecture with the relationship between “integrity”and “talent”and drew the quintessence from the saying “talent is the capital of moral; while moral leads talent”. He put forward four requirements towards the undergraduates, that is, learn to behave oneself, to handle affairs, to get along with others, how to study. He wrapped up the lecture with the reasons why college students are in lack of honesty, and his expectations towards them. Impressed by the clear layer and easily-understood sense, students gave a warm applaud in the end.
