On 16th October, the Institute on Marxism from Jingjiang College invited professors Lu Yixin, Du Yuanyi, Qiu Jinbo, Wang Wenchu and Lang Qianshan from the Community Concerning on the Next Generation to deliver the integrity symposium for people born in 1940s and 1990s, and this symposium was hosted by the Communist Youth League Secretary Gao Fukang.

Professor Du Yuanyi highlighted the importance of integrity by starting from the understanding of integrity, recalling the integrity phenomenon in his campus life and pointing out the behaviors of breaking promises in the current society. He related the motto “Ming De” of Jiangsu University to request the students to obtain integrity. Other professors also gave their opinions on integrity by stating the relation between integrity and moral, which has inspired the students a lot. Meanwhile, the students expressed their opinions on integrity and communicated with the professors.

Integrity is always a hot issue even if the society keeps changing. As one of the activities focusing on integrity education, this symposium has enhanced the students’ awareness of the importance of integrity. Moreover, it helps a lot in forming a harmonious school atmosphere.
