The new campus construction project has promoted smoothly. Since 30thAugust, 2013 when the bidding conference on planning projects for new campus was held, four renowned design companies like Architects and Engineers Co.,Ltd of Southeast University, Tongji Architectural Design (Group) Co. Ltd etc. have provided scientific, comprehensive and meticulous plans for our new campus and 4 set of detailed planning schemes have shaped. In order to build a modern campus with full-function and rational layout, a consultation activity on design of new campus was held on 23rdOctober, 2013.
At 4 p.m. on 23rdOctober, in the lead of Mr. Lu Zhengnan, Mr. Chen Zhigang and other leaders of Jingjiang College, all the staff and some student representatives engaged in the consultation activity. The 4 set of detailed planning schemes were displayed by models, pictures and multimedia presentation in the exhibition hall of the library of Jiangsu University. According to the construction plan, the scale of new campus will be in accordance with ten thousand students, which covers an area of 850 Mu with building area of 269000 square meters. Teachers and students engaging in the activity carefully watched and heatedly discussed the 4 unique and distinctive set of planning schemes. They gave valuable suggestions, filled in the vote seriously, and put the vote carefully into the ballot box.
In addition, the network consultation activity was also held simultaneously. Teachers, student representatives, retired veteran comrades and all middle-level cadres of Jiangsu University took part in the consultation activity.
