At 9:00 am on August 31st, JingJiang College held the first all-faculty meeting of this new semester, in which the leading priorities of the next half of the year was arranged. Dean Lu Zhengnan hosted the meeting, the Vice President of Jiangsu University Song Qingyu, the leaders from Party and executive branch and all faculty of Jingjiang College attended the meeting.

At the beginning, Dean Lu Zhengnan summarized and appreciated the achievements of the last half-year, and gave his warm welcome to the new staff. Later, the leaders responsible for each branch arranged the work for the next half-year respectively. Party Committee secretary of our college Chen Zhigang said, while the agreement on the relocating new campus between our collage and Zhenjiang Municipal government signed, our college would usher a new journey. Under the new situation, we should change our mind, keep pace with the times, think new concepts, establish new mechanism, fulfill new achievements, and finally achieve a new height.

Vice president Song Qingyu appreciated the significant development and he also pointed out that as the construction of new campus has been in full swing, we are confronted with the great task and pressure. So we have to keep the routine functions in good operation and in the meanwhile to fulfill the transformation of the administration and school running system, in order to meet the qualification of Ministry of education for independent collages. All faculties are required to explore their activeness, change their mind and devote themselves into the construction of new campus.

In the end of the meeting, Dean Lu Zhengnan introduced the development of the new campus, summarized and arranged the work for all branches. He also required the faculty to take the new situation as an opportunity, consider the reform of operation and administration system, the independent development of college, and how to achieve the breakthrough in internationalization..

This meeting provided the direction for the new semester’s work and brought out new aims and requirements. The whole college will exert the utmost effort to combine the routine work with the implementation of the mass education route, build an independent college of high level, educate practical talents with high qualities and develop an education system which masses satisfied with.
