
March 6, Professor Jutta Binder-Hobbach, vice-president of Worms University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and Mr. Jan Metzler of International Office of the University paid a visit to Jiangsu University. President Yuan Shouqi had a meeting with the guests. Similar to other universities of applied sciences, Worms University of Applied Sciences is one of applied sciences and technology. Worms University has its distinctive features in the disciplines of economics, traffic management and computer information, and its strongest discipline is economics. The University has been appointed to train the Chinese students who receive a scholarship from METRO Group Company (China). They discussed exchanging students and mutual recognition of credits. Both parties expressed the intention of cooperation, and decided that this year each side send 6 students to study at the other side for one year, and gradually more students be exchanged in the coming years. The 6 students will be chosen from Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University. At the end of the meeting, gifts were exchanged.
