On March 4th, the first working meeting of the Board of Directors of our college in 2019 was held in the second lecture hall of the school conference center. Yuan Shouqi, secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University, Gao Qingguo, secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Jiangsu University, and other directors and supervisors attended the meeting. The leaders of the non-supervisory supervisors attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Yan Xiaohong, President of Jiangsu University and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute.

    The meeting heard and discussed the report on the problems faced by the operation and standard acceptance of the new campus of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University, reviewed the financial budget of our institute in 2019, and discussed related topics such as adjusting the professional structure of Jingjiang College, purchasing and sourcing, and 2019 recruitment plan. A resolution was formed.

    Secretary Yuan’s speech pointed out that with the joint efforts of all departments of the school, Jingjiang College successfully completed the first batch of relocation work, and it operated smoothly, and affirmed the hard work of everyone. In the future development, the following must still be achieved: First, adhere to independent education, according to the spirit of the fourth party congress of Jiangsu University, unswervingly develop high-level applied undergraduate colleges; second, focus on connotation Develop, deepen the implementation of the "high-level, distinctive" development strategy, strengthen the characteristics of running schools, and improve the quality of running schools.

    In his concluding remarks, President Yan asked that the opportunities and challenges of private higher education currently coexist and have great potential and space for development.
