Students can receive the basic training for power engineers. Through the professional training and learning on the projects of thermal power engineering applications in computer, computer control systems, modern testing technology, CAD technology, large-scale power plant boiler, steam turbine principle, thermal measurement and automatic control of thermal processes, thermal power plants, air conditioning, refrigeration principles and equipment, new energy and energy-saving technology and other courses. They can grasp the skills to be engaged in the management of thermal power production and energy technology research and innovation capacity. The students will have strong self-learning ability, higher overall quality and innovation, enable to work independently.
