On the afternoon of February 20th, the Teaching Department of our college held a video conference on teaching work. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Zong Bojun, Vice President, and participated by all teaching staff of the college.
Firstly, the team leader of the Teaching Department, Fang yuan, summed up the problems encountered in online teaching since the beginning of the first teaching week. The major problem is the instability of teaching platform due to the high number of student. He also pointed out that the teaching secretary should implement the work in practice from the date of 24th and remind certain teachers who are about to start a class to make preparations in advance as well.
Secondly, in view of the stability of the platform, Zhang Ke, the Teaching Secretary, recommended teachers to choose alternative platform methods, such as superstar, wisdom tree, rain class, Chinese college students' MOOC, etc. She also contended that teachers should use online teaching resources properly, diversify teaching modes, and do a good job in online teaching through live broadcast, screen recording, PPT demonstration, and data upload. It is pointed out that the stability of the teaching platform will be strengthened after a period of time.
Finally, Vice President Zong Bojun made a conclusion of the major points of recent teaching work, and asked all staff of the teaching department to establish a sense of service, assist teachers to perform online teaching, monitor the quality of curriculum.
