On the morning of May 22nd, our school held the 2023 Graduates' Employment Promotion Conference in Conference Room 302 of the Administrative Building. Zhao Xicang, President of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University, Wu Liping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, Head of the General Office, Secretary of the General Party Branch of each secondary college (department), Head of Employment, all staff of the College Students Employment Service Center, and all full-time and part-time counselors of the graduating class attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Jiang Hao, Head of the Student Affairs Department.
At the meeting, Wang Yazhou, Deputy Minister of Student Affairs, reported the progress of employment work for 2023 graduates and shared their experience in employment work. Wu Liping conveyed the spirit of the national and provincial video conference on youth employment and entrepreneurship among college graduates, and requested everyone to study and understand it seriously, and fully implement the conference spirit. The secretaries of the Party branch of each secondary college (department) and the counselors of the graduation class respectively reported on the progress of employment work for the 2023 graduates, the completion of employment work goals, and the next steps of work plans.
Zhao Xicang analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of our school's employment work, as well as the external opportunities and challenges, and proposed five job requirements. Firstly, we should improve our position and be brave in taking on responsibilities. Secondly, we should strengthen leadership and goal orientation. Thirdly, we should implement the goals and overcome difficulties. Fourthly, we should strengthen supervision and conduct serious assessments. Lastly, we should balance long-term and service-oriented development. He emphasized that all members of the school should participate, increase employment efforts, seize the critical period of employment work, and fully guarantee the high-quality and full employment of our graduates.
