From October 20th to 22nd, the 9th Teaching Competition of Basic Mathematics for Young Teachers in Universities and Colleges of Jiangsu Province was held in Suqian College. Xu Tingting from the Mathematics Teaching and Research Department of Basic Courses of our school won the third prize.

The 9th Teaching Competition of Basic Mathematics for Young Teachers in Universities and Colleges of Jiangsu Province was guided by the Higher Education Department of Jiangsu Province and sponsored by the Research Association of Mathematics Teaching in Universities and Colleges of Jiangsu Province. It aimed to promote the reform of teaching concepts, teaching modes, teaching methods and teaching means, and promoted the integration of curriculum ideological and political concepts into the teaching of college mathematics courses, and comprehensively improved the teaching quality and teaching level of college mathematics courses. More than 200 teachers from more than 80 universities and colleges of Jiangsu province, including Nanjing University, Nanjing Normal University and China University of Mining and Technology, participated in the competition.

Our school attached great importance to this competition, actively organized pre-competition guidance for participating teachers, carefully polished entries, constantly optimized teaching design, and repeatedly conducted simulation exercises. Finally, with excellent performance, the solid professional skills and good teaching style of the young mathematics teachers of our school were demonstrated.
