In order to strengthen the construction of counselors' team, improve their educational skills, standardize the working procedures and requirements of psychological interviews, and promote counselors to better carry out heart to heart talks with students, on the afternoon of May 3rd, the Student Work Department and the Human Resources Department organized and carried out the training on Counselors' heart to heart talk skills and crisis intervention identification and response. Lu Jing, deputy director of the mental health education center of Jiangsu University, gave a lecture at the training meeting. Wu Liping, deputy secretary of the Party committee and vice president of the college, Fanyanhua, vice president, and all full-time counselors attended this training.

  Lu Jing elaborated on the importance of counselors' heart to heart talks under the background of normalization of epidemic prevention and control. Combined with cases, she systematically explained the specific process, methods, content organization, feedback methods and precautions of heart to heart talks, and gave lectures on the identification, assessment and intervention of crisis cases in the process of heart to heart talks. Finally, it clarifies the referral process and precautions for handling difficult crisis cases under the framework of mental health law, and further improves the referral system.
