In order to improve the professional quality and teaching ability of our teachers, on April 21st, associate professor Liang Xu from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Jiangsu University was invited to give a lecture on the theme of "teaching a good lesson with your heart" to all teachers of our college at B103, Jingjiang Building. The lecture was hosted by Vice President Fan Yanhua.

 In the lecture, Liang Xu closely revolved around the two major issues of "how to design a golden course" and "how to make good use of new teaching methods", combined with the school's policies of promoting teaching through "research, reform, and competition", he provided a practical path for teachers to enhance their ability in the teaching process.

 In order to further improve the teaching ability and methods of the teachers who participated in the final of the fifth teachers' teaching competition of our school, associate professor Liang Xu and associate professor Feng Xu from the School of Physics and Electronic engineering of Jiangsu University gave guidance to all the teachers who participated in the competition after the lecture. Two experts commented on the comprehensive performance of the teachers from the aspects of teaching design, teaching content, achievement of evaluation goals, reflection and improvement. They offered many unique opinions and encouraged young teachers to continuously explore and practice, and enhance the depth of the participating works. With the demonstration and careful guidance of two experts, the participating teachers expressed great benefits and insights.

 By leveraging the opportunity of teaching competitions, our college have built a good learning platform for teachers, deeply inspiring them and truly realizing that teaching is a responsibility, a science, an art, and a culture. Our teachers should constantly base themselves on the roots of classroom teaching, explore the essence of education, and take classroom teaching to a new level.
