On June 6th, our school held a seminar on first-class course construction in the 302-conference room of the administrative building. The meeting invited Professor Zhong Wenhui, Vice Dean of the Central North College of Nanjing Normal University, to give a keynote speech. Vice President Wang Guolin presided over the meeting.

Professor Zhong Wenhui deeply elaborated on the key issues of teaching reform, course content and resource construction and application, teaching organization and implementation, course evaluation and effectiveness in the construction of first-class courses. Taking national first-class courses as a case study, he also explained the assessment requirements and construction ideas of three different first-class courses. He emphasized that in order to further promote the construction of first-class courses, it is necessary to focus on course objectives, scientifically and reasonably design the integration of course objectives, course content, teaching methods, and assessment evaluation in accordance with the requirements of "gender once" construction, and truly create a batch of high-level, innovative, and challenging "golden courses".

Wang Guolin pointed out that attending teachers should deeply consider the content of the lecture, establish new concepts in curriculum construction, comprehensively promote the reform of curriculum structure, content, and teaching methods, improve the quality oriented curriculum construction mechanism, so as to improve the overall level of school curriculum construction quality.

This seminar will further promote the construction of school curriculum, deepen education and teaching reform, and promote the improvement of talent cultivation quality.
