On April 11th, the opening ceremony of the fifth Jinghua class of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University was held in the Jingjiang Auditorium. Li Hongbo,vice president of Jiangsu University and Chen Zhigang, secretary of the Party Committee of Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Wu Liping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of Jingjiang college.

First of all, Secretary Chen Zhigang delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He explained the purpose of the establishment of the Jinghua class and put forward three hopes for the fifth class students: to be a practitioner of socialist core values; to be a Chinese dream, Jingjiang dream participants; to be the leader of the Jingjiang students. Deputy Secretary Wu Liping read out the management mode, curriculum and completion requirements of the fifth Jinghua class. The student representative, Yang Jiahui, made a speech from the perspective of “strict self-discipline and self-improvement”.

After the opening ceremony, Prof. Li Hongbo, Vice President and Doctoral Supervisor of Jiangsu University, gave the first lecture of the Jinghua class, titled “Be an Internationalized High-Quality Applied Talents”. With the help of detailed cases and humorous language, President Li has elaborated from the three aspects: application, high quality and internationalization.
